Tamara is an easy payment method that enables shoppers to split their purchase bill into at least 3 payments, without any additional benefits.
How is Tamara paid?
The process is very simple, we just divide the bill amount into 3 or 6 payments. The first payment is made upon purchase, and you can pay the rest over two or five months depending on your choice.
Are there additional benefits or fees?
There are no additional benefits or costs. You will pay the same amount for the item without any change, as the profit is collected from merchants through usage fees only.
How long does the purchase process take?
The purchase process takes a very short time, just like any other purchase.
What do we need from you?
We just want to get your mobile number and make sure you have a bank card (Mada, Visa, MasterCard, Apple Pay).
Will the amount be withdrawn upon purchase or will it be reserved?
No amount will be withdrawn from your account without your express consent.
How can I pay you?
You can pay us via the Tamara app or website (not directly to the store). All you have to do is visit the website through the attached link or download the application from the Apple Store or Google Play, then log in using your mobile number registered with us. Then, you can choose any payment method that suits you, such as mada, credit card, ApplePay, or even a bank transfer.
What happens if you are late with a payment?
If you are late in repaying the amount, a fee of 25 per month will apply up to a maximum of 150 in total. We would always remind you to make your payment in a timely manner, and we will notify you after your purchase and before the payment deadline.
